Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the Ping Habits iOS app (the "App") and website at https://www.pinghabits.com (the "Site"). By using the App or Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Provider

Ping Habits is operated by an independent developer based in Spain. Contact: hi@pinghabits.com.

2. Use of the App and Site

You may use the App and Site only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. You are responsible for the content you create in the App and for keeping your device secure.

3. License

Subject to these Terms and any App Store terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use.

4. Local-only data model

The App does not require account registration for core usage and does not sync habit content to our servers. Habit data is stored on your device. You are responsible for your backups and device-level security.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Some features may require a paid subscription ("Ping Habits Pro"). Billing is handled by Apple via the App Store. Subscription pricing, free trials, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by Apple's terms and policies.

The App uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlement status. RevenueCat does not receive your habit content from us.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the App or Site, including by attempting unauthorized access, interfering with normal operation, infringing intellectual property rights, or violating law.

7. Intellectual property

The App, Site, and related branding, software, and content are owned by Ping Habits or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Service availability and updates

We may release updates, improvements, or fixes and may modify features over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the App or Site.

9. Disclaimer

The App and Site are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Ping Habits is a productivity tool and does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ping Habits is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of the App or Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App or Site at any time. We may restrict access to the Site if needed to protect security, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your country of residence.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App or Site after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
